Tshepiso was born and bred in Kroonstad, and at the tender age of 16, he was well known as a good singer in and around Kroonstad. He would always travel with his grand-mother to different Churches as he comes from a religious background. His mother was a good actress at school, and co-incidentally she worked for well known
artist/comedian/performer Pieter Dirk-Uys.

Tshepiso started his singing career on his home soil with some local bands, namely The Echos and Kroonstad Red Lions. He was then spotted by William Mthethwa who became his mentor and producer for his solo projects Nqoqele and Volkstad. Tshepiso once had a stint with Sankomota as a lead vocalist, and he has featured in some numerous albums of powerful artist such as Rebecca Molope, Spokes H and Patricia Majalisa. He has also done some studio sessions with Chico, Mdu, Ebony, Yvonne Chaka Chaka and many others.

In all these years he traveled extensively in African countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana, where even an infant is his fan. Owing to his powerful and hyperbolic performance on stage you are bound to love him, hence he was invited to Qatar in the Middle East on a cultural link with South Africa. Tshepiso is also a prolific actor who even surpasses trained actors in their own game. He starred in a local Sotho drama called Mponeng, which was aired on SABC 2, and he appears as a priest on a popular CELL C advert aired daily on television.

Presently Tshepiso has released his 1st Gospel CD with Spirit Music, after being spotted by Oupa Montshiwagae singing in the CBD of Johannesburg.
